From executive producer Martin Scorsese, Lymelife will open the Newport Beach Film Festival which is celebrating its 10th Anniversary on April 23-30, 2009.
Lymelife centers on two deeply troubled, dsyfunctional families during the late 1970s. The film revolves around an awkward, sensitive 15-year old boy, Scott Bartlett (Rory Culkin), whose family life is turned upside-down after an outbreak of Lyme disease hits the community spreading illness and paranoia.
Lymelife stars Alec Baldwin, Kieran Culkin, Rory Culkin, Jill Hennessy, Timothy Hutton, Cynthia Nixon and Emma Roberts. (Hope we see them all on the red carpet at the Newport Beach Film Festival premiere or gala party!)
