Fleming’s Steakhouse in Newport Beach has never disappointed but now they have managed to raise the bar again with the “5 for $6, ‘Til 7″ menu and the soon-to-arrive Prime Burger Bar.Â
Â
The “5 for $6, ‘Til 7″ menu has been a huge success since its debut; offering a delicious array of cocktails, wines and appetizers all for $6 each nightly at the bar until 7pm. The appetizers include a Tenderloin Carpaccio, Sweet Chili Calamari, Wicked Cajun Barbeque, Seared Ahi Tuna, Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes and as of July the new Prime Sirloin Burger with Bacon & Cheese. Now that I have managed to try each of the options, I would highly recommend the Sweet Chili Calamari, Tenderloin Carpaccio and the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes (with a regular menu price of $16.50 this is the biggest bang for your buck!) The cocktails include a White Cosmo, Appletini, Basil Lemon Drop, Fleming’s Mojito and Diamond Rita - which I wish I could give you more insight on but seeing that I still haven’t moved past the White Cosmo I will have to let you decide for yourself on which way to go! So once the clock hits 5pm, head over and get a spot at the bar to enjoy these great deals with the infamous Fleming’s taste of quality and freshness.
Â
Starting Sept. 2, Fleming’s will add another alluring twist to their repertoire with new gourmet burgers at the bar. Served with a mini wedge salad and onion rings, these burgers will be hard to resist. Ranging from $10-$18, the new Prime Burger Bar even offers a vegetarian option. The menu includes: the Fleming’s Prime Burger: Cheddar Cheese, Peppered Bacon (this burger is the only burger offered at a discount with the “5 for $6, ‘Til 7″ menu); Sliced Filet Mignon Burger: Sautéed Mushrooms, Béarnaise Sauce; Jumbo Lump Crab Burger: Creamy Mustard Sauce; Ahi Tuna Burger: Soy Ginger Sauce; Portobello Mushroom Burger: Sautéed Spinach, Creamy Goat Cheese.Â
